Board of Directors
Take a look at the amazing board members helping behind the scenes!

Jerry McGough
Jerry McGough comes from a large, close-knit family of six siblings, raised by parents who deeply valued helping others. His parents exemplified this commitment by founding an annual Christmas party for the International Catholic Deaf Association, an event where every member of the family played an essential role. After 25 years of dedicated service, Jerry’s parents retired from organizing the event, passing their legacy of giving to the next generation. In 2011, Jerry, along with his wife and three sons, embraced this calling and continued their family’s tradition of community service.
In 2021, Jerry formalized his commitment to serving others by establishing a Board of Directors and applying for 501(c)(3) status to create the Total Experience Foundation. Guided by the concept of "GRACE," the foundation has become a beacon of hope and generosity, carrying forward the values instilled by his parents. The journey has been enriched by remarkable experiences and inspiring individuals.
After dedicating over 30 years to a successful career in the aerospace and technology industry, Jerry retired and became the Founder of Total Turf Experience. He and his wife are proud parents to three wonderful sons, two fantastic daughters-in-law, and three amazing grandchildren—with their family continuing to grow.
Jerry’s life is a testament to the power of family, faith, and service in creating a lasting impact.

Theresa Saponara
Theresa Saponara is a lifelong resident of Washington Township. She attended
Whitman Elementary School and graduated from Washington Township High School in
1980. After graduation, she worked for Best Products for 16 years before a twist of fate
had her returning to work as a secretary at the high school from 1997 until her
retirement in 2024. Theresa took great pride in her work and involvement at the high
school.
During her tenure at WTHS, she became involved with the Helping Hands Super Bowl
Hoagie Sale. This annual event helps to raise money for local families who are dealing
with serious medical issues. Over the years, her involvement in the Hoagie Sale grew to
the point where she, and Charlie Doud, are now serving as co-chairs of this amazing
event.
In addition to her involvement with the Hoagie Sale, Theresa was known throughout the
district for spearheading fundraising efforts for many staff members or families in need,
working to provide them with either financial or material support. Helping others is a
passion of hers and she looks forward to working with the Total Experience Foundation
to help families in need.
